Pinning a boutonniere or corsage...seems like a simple task. Not always!  You have the flower and pin in hand.  Your special day is here, you're excited, maybe nervous or jittery. Now, how do you pin it on?
Here are some tips on this particularly delicate issue, broken into a
few simple steps. 

The corsage and boutonniere should be on opposite sides, so they don’t
touch each other when dancing. The boutonniere is
traditionally pinned over a man's left lapel, and the corsage is placed on the right side of a dress.
